Position Summary: Working independently and/or alongside co-workers, you will work with our facilities team to maintain a clean and welcoming environment across the University campus.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain floors in various buildings (sweep, vacuum, mop, etc.)
- Clean and properly disinfect restrooms, replenishing paper products when necessary
- Regularly empty trash cans and perform other necessary tasks as needed to maintian an orderly presence within our facilities.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn proper cleaning techniques
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn hazards and safety methods related to custodial operations
- Ability to work independently and/or alongside others to completely and effectively accomplish assigned tasks
