Social Media Project Coordinator

Position Summary: Facilitate various social media projects by organizing project teams and scheduling meetings to ensure project is completed by the established deadline. Duties include monitoring social media conversations on the company's behalf, creating, and posting relevant content to support the BJU Press brand and imprints.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create, monitor, and coordinate posts on various social media channel
  • Work with SEO/web analytics to collect and track metrics
  • Work with team to coordinate product promotions
  • Work with team to coordinate marketing strategies and messaging across multiple sales channels

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding and interest in social media and advertising
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must enjoy working with others
  • Basic knowledge of HTML a plus
  • Working knowledge of existing BJU Press products a plus

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Microsoft Word
  • Facebook, Instagram, Word Press, and Teamwork
