Shipping/Receiving Coordinator

Position Summary: The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator is responsible for incoming and outgoing shipments. Essential duties include verifying shipment documents, determining shipping priorities, determining storage space requirements, coordinating loading and unloading operations, and updating records. Coordinator will apply supply chain management experience, coordinating skills, communication and interpersonal abilities, attention to details, teamwork, and time management.


  • Basic skills in math, computer, and accurate record keeping.
  • Courteous in communication (both oral and written) with management, fellow workers, and vendor and supply chain drivers.
  • Clean, well-groomed appearance.
  • Good Attitude.
  • Desire to perform all around high quality work.
  • Forklift and/or clamp truck experience preferred.
  • Inventory control system experience preferred.
  • Comfortable driving a small truck for pickups and deliveries.
  • DOT permit preferred.


  • Keep and maintain an accurate physical inventory.
  • Validate all incoming and outgoing shipments and distribute incoming shipments accordingly.
  • Process receipts into ERP system and Print Shop material accounting system.
  • Ability to follow and complete instructions.
  • Frequent operation of forklifts and hand pallet jacks.
  • Ability to apply common sense when working on solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Previous warehouse operations and supply chain experience a plus, but not necessary.
