Project Coordinator

Position Summary:  Do you love working with people and hitting deadlines? Do you want to use these skills to help provide Christian educational materials from a biblical worldview for students around the world? Project Coordinators set goals and schedules to help team members meet crucial deadlines. They coordinate multiple project teams across multiple departments in order to get our product to the market on time.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees a minimum of 3 product lines; OR 2 product lines with 1 specialized area; OR 1 specialized product line and 1 specialized area
  • Communicates with management and project team members
  • Collaborates with other project coordinators in regards to shared resources
  • Communicates with vendors and freelance team members
  • Coordinates the development of product line plans
  • Coordinates the implementation of product line plans
  • Leads various team meetings
  • Schedules work tasks and breaks them down into achievable goals
  • Monitors work progress
  • Identifies weak areas and offers solutions
  • Facilitates issue resolution
  • Gains knowledge of the current physical book production process and offers solutions for a more efficient process

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to use project management tools
  • Ability to plan, schedule and track projects
  • Ability to adjust, recover, troubleshoot, brainstorm and work under pressure
  • Ability to lead a team to hit due dates
  • Ability to help a team follow established processes
  • Ability to facilitate issue resolution for a team
  • Ability to start/finish reports on time
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to create a fun/happy work environment
  • Associate's degree preferrably in business or higher degree with 1-2 years related experience OR high school graduate or GED with five or more years related experience

COMPUTER SKILLS: 

  • Microsoft Word, Excel. Microsoft Project desirable, but not required
