POSITION SUMMARY:  Assisting in event planning and execution; assisting in Center for Global Opportunities (CGO)-related projects such as BJU Mission Teams, Global Opportunities Week, and other activities in which CGO participates; assisting with student outreach engagement and involvement, and undertaking assorted errands as necessary. Additionally, the student worker would sit at the CGO desk for most of the work hours, providing the Office Administrator with the ability to work at a higher productivity level in her own office.


  • Assist in the reception of guests and manage office while sitting desk
  • Answer phones or questions that students have about the CGO as well as outreach in general
  • Assist in planning and recruitment for weekly outreaches
  • Assist in major campus-wide outreach projects (planning, execution, tracking, doucmentation).
  • Assist Coordinator of Outreach & Evangelism in the organization of the Community Service Council
  • Assist with student outreach engagement and enhancement
  • Assist in research and development of outreach/evangelism curriculum
  • Undertake assorted errands as needed by the CGO staff
  • Undertake projects whenever requested by the Director of the CGO
  • Engage in thought leadership (possibly including blogging) related to outreach and evangelism
  • Sit at the CGO desk for approximately half of work hours
