Admission Assistant (for Korea)

POSITION SUMMARY:  Assist the International Admission Counselor to recruit and meet numerical goals from the international territory

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Recruit and meet numerical goals to enroll best-served students from the international territory
  • Research partner opportunities with churches, schools, and culture groups both domestically and abroad
  • Make full use of technology resources in order to reach prospects, families, and key influencers
  • Present and effectively market the university to prospects, families, and key influencers
  • Facilitate the university enrollment process

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Native fluency in at least one foreign language is essential (Chinese, Korean or Spanish)
  • Experience working and studying abroad
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to relate well to people from diverse cultures
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan and implement goals
  • Strong computer experience with technology applications
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service and public relations skills
  • Professional presentation experience
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.  

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree; Must be enrolled for post-graduate studies at Bob Jones University
