Elementary School Late Stay Coordinator

Position Summary: As Late Stay supervisor, this person oversees the daily after school childcare program for grades 1-5 at Bob Jones Academy.


  • Provide loving, safe, Christ-honoring environment for the students under his/her care
  • Organize and execute a daily schedule for the childcare time, including homework time, activities (indoor/outdoor), and devotional/challenge times
  • Maintain detailed records of student attendance at the program
  • Hire, train and supervise a team of workers consisting of BJU students
  • Oversee worker scheduling and child care on days when BJA is not in session but university employees require care for their children due to work responsibilites


  • Works well with children and adults
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills with students, parents, and workers
  • Demonstrates organizational abilities in the management of workers and children


Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: One to two years prior experience preferred
