Press Art & Design Traffic Coordinator

Position Summary: We are looking for an Art and Design Traffic Coordinator to work collaboratively with our designers and illustrators to create biblically integrated, academically rigorous educational materials. You will thrive in this role if you are a detail-oriented, thoughtful listener with strong verbal and written communication skills. Responsibilities include monitoring art assignments, schedules, and budgets, tracking departmental milestones, and acting as a liaison for the department.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain department art schedule for all projects. This includes in-house art as well as outsourced art.
  • Prepare electronic files to provide outsourced artists with clear direction regarding art layout, size, placement, specific types of artwork, including due date/deadline specifications.
  • Act as liaison between A&D department and the Operations Outsourcing Coordinator.
  • Track status of outstanding art. Follow up with artists and communicate status of art to Designers and Art and Design department managers as required.
  • Maintain Art and Design Key Milestones chart
  • Assist with maintaining long-range plan / capacity planning for designer assignments.
  • Perform additional miscellaneous administrative tasks as assigned by the Art and Design Senior Manager and as time permits.

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self starter, pro-active, problem solving and prioritizing skills
  • Schedule-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to positively interact with creative employees as well as management
  • Planning and scheduling ability

Required Education: High School Graduate
Required Experience: One to two years related experience
