Distribution Center Fulfillment Line Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY: The Fulfillment Line Coordinator is directly responsible for the prompt release, preparation and accurate fulfillment of all standard warehouse orders. Specific duties (see below) will vary depending on the time of year and order volume. This is a position that requires overtime (some evenings and Saturdays) during peak shipping season (May-Sept).


  • Preps and releases orders for fulfillment
  • Monitors status/progress of all orders to ensure timely completion (especially RUSH orders)
  • Communicates emergency re-stock needs/item issues to Re-stock Personnel/Supervisor
  • Organizes and assigns line workers per work load/order flow and assists in training as necessary
  • Troubleshoots/solves box/pick problems on pick line and high-volume
  • Keeps assigned areas well-organized, clean, safe, and stocked with necessary supplies each day
  • Informs Shipping Supervisor/Maintenance Technician of any equipment/system issues
  • Assists with item re-location when necessary
  • Assists in fulfillment as necessary; promptly opening, picking, and completing available orders
  • Assists on shipping dock/trucks as needed
  • Performs other tasks as directed by the Shipping Supervisor, Assistant Supervisor, or PDC Manager

  • Flexibility: able to remain focused and handle changes/challenges in a professional manner
  • Compatibility: able to work with and supervise others with various skill levels
  • Ability to teach and train inexperienced workers; counseling skills helpful
  • Responsibility and dependability in accomplishing daily tasks and goals
  • A sense of urgency in getting things done
  • Attention to detail
  • Prior experience on fulfillment line VERY helpful

Required Education: Bachelor's degree
Required Experience: One to two years related experience
