BJA Middle School Late Stay (Student)

POSITION SUMMARY:  Supervise 7th and 8th grade students during the time from when school is dismissed until each of their rides come.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Correct behavior of students, as necessary
  • Sell snacks to students
  • Enter check-in/check-out times in computer
  • Play with/supervise students as they play various games
  • Oversee a 25-minute study hall for the students
  • Must (occasionally) be able to push/pull up to 40 lbs.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University
  • A willingness to interact with Middle School students and their parents
  • Willing to follow Late Stay supervisor directives
  • Willingness to work with other Late Stay workers
