POSITION SUMMARY: The Alumni Service GA is responsible for all front-line interactions with alumni both in the office and at events. This position is a key role in the alumni office, allowing fresh perspective and connection with the newest alumni and contributing to ideas and direction for programs and events. The Alumni Service GA also executes key alumni communications under the supervision of the Communications Specialist and Director. This role is trained by the Office Coordinator, and some of the more basic functions are overseen by the Office Coordinator.

In preparation for teaching, this graduate assistant will construct and submit lesson plans on a weekly basis to his/her supervisor. This graduate assistant will be fully responsible for teaching all course content, grading all speech projects and written work, and meeting with students outside of class who need additional assistance.
