Alumni Service GA

POSITION SUMMARY: The Alumni Service GA is responsible for all front-line interactions with alumni both in the office and at events. This position is a key role in the alumni office, allowing fresh perspective and connection with the newest alumni and contributing to ideas and direction for programs and events. The Alumni Service GA also executes key alumni communications under the supervision of the Communications Specialist and Director. This role is trained by the Office Coordinator, and some of the more basic functions are overseen by the Office Coordinator.

Grounds- Women's General Maintenance

POSITION SUMMARY: If you thrive working outdoors, this 12-month GA position plays a key role in maintaining an appealing environment around the women's residence halls.  Work varies between solo and alongside co-workers and is available immediately. 

Child Development Center Assistant


  • As CDC Assistant, you will assist the teacher in the supervision and management of the classroom and supervise student workers when teachers are not present.
  • This is a 12-month Staff GA position.
Custodial Zone Coordinator


  • As Custodial Zone Coordinator, you will plan, assign, and supervise the work and training of custodial workers engaged in cleaning and minor maintenance tasks in one of the custodial zones. You will also be responsible to uphold the University Mission Statement by training and developing leadership skills within your assigned crew chiefs and student workers.
  • This is a 12-month Staff GA position.
Freshman English Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY: Nine-month, academic graduate assistant energized by the opportunity to help freshmen succeed through facilitating En 101 and 102, grading, and meeting one-on-one. Position begins August 2021.

Facilities Custodial Assistant


  •  Working independently and/or alongside co-workers, you will work with our facilities team to maintain a clean and welcoming environment across the University campus.
  • This is a 12-month GA position.
  • Position open immediately. 
Communication Speech Faculty

POSITION SUMMARY: The graduate assistant hired for this position will be responsible for teaching 3 sections of Com 101 (9 classroom hours per week). In preparation for teaching, this graduate assistant will construct and submit lesson plans on a weekly basis to his/her supervisor.  This graduate assistant will be fully responsible for teaching all course content, grading all speech projects and written work, and meeting with students outside of class who need additional assistance.   This is a 9-month Academic GA position beginning August 2018.
