Academy of Home Education Specialist

Position Summary:  Do you have a passion to provide great customer service and the ability to communicate effectively to homeschool parents? As an AHE specialist, you will support homeschool families by recording grades, preparing transcripts, and encouraging parents by email and telephone. You will also be part of a team assisting with AHE events such as Junior Class Trip and the annual graduation ceremony.

Curriculum Support Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY: Takes care of all aspects of customer service for BJU Press.  Provides tier 1 academic counsel (especially to homeschool families).  Serves as a gatekeeper for additional services provided by BJU Press (access to teachers/authors).

Home Education Services Technical Support Coordinator

Position Summary: As the Home Education Services Technical Support Coordinator, you will provide support for the Academy of Home Education, Testing Center, and Testing & Evaluation. Your workday may include anything from interfacing with vendors to first line hardware support. In providing support, you will also gather and communicate requirements for system updates as well as learn and train the departments when updates or new software is implemented. In between these tasks, you will also assist with processing and repairing testing materials as they circulate through inventory.

Press Business Office Accounting Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:  We are looking for an individual with accounting skills and experience who can become part of our Press Business Office Team.  This is a team of 17 people who enjoy their work, serving BJU Press in all business functions.  You will join a department staff of three to help with some of these functions.  There will be opportunities for cross-training and working with the entire team on projects, and this position allows for some schedule flexibility.  Our team recently moved into a renovated office area which is complete with new electronically height- adjustable workstations, allowing us to change our desk position from sitting to standing in seconds.  Each workstation has two wide-screen monitors.  As a team we actively pray for, care for, and help one another!

POSITION SUMMARY:  As a BJU Press page-layout specialist, you have a part in creating textbooks and other K-12 educational products as you place text and images into Adobe InDesign templates. The materials are all prepared for you—it’s your job to bring them together on the page. You work with an editor and other team members to proof and fine-tune the pages. When your project is finished, you send the files to the BJU Press Printing Division and then look forward to holding the printed book in your hands or seeing your work in the form of a digital textbook.
