National Consultant (Secondary Science focus)

Summary: The national consultant represents BJU Press to the customer as a conference speaker and represents the customer in BJU Press Marketing, based on field experience. This position is located in Greenville, South Carolina. While it involves travel, it is not remote.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Coordinate and deliver training for new BJU Press Christian school customers.
  • Work with Precept Marketing Group to develop ongoing VIP (Vision, Inspiration, Purpose) content.
  • Speak at local and national VIP events. Attend meals, tours, etc.
  • Develop new presentations as needed.
  • Speak at Exchange training conference.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Teaching experience required
  • Must be very familiar with BJU Press philosophy, products, and preferably have experience in using them as well.
  • Must be an effective public speaker.
  • Must have good people skills.
  • Must be able to think creatively and write clearly.
  • Preferred to be a seasoned and independent traveler
  • Must know PowerPoint or Keynote to build presentations.
  • Must have the ability to understand new technology and to learn educational learning platforms.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
