International Territory Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY: As an International Territory Coordinator at BJU, you’ll lead international recruitment, build strategic partnerships, and guide students through their college decision and enrollment journey. This dynamic role involves international travel, frequent communication with prospective students, and making a lasting impact on individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Candidates must be residents in the United States of America. This position is not accepting international applications.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead international recruitment efforts, developing and executing strategies to attract and enroll students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with churches, schools, and cultural organizations both domestically and internationally.
  • Represent and effectively market BJU through presentations, events, and personal outreach to prospective students, families, and key influencers.
  • Guide and support prospective students throughout the college decision-making and enrollment process.
  • Travel, as needed, to engage with students, families, and institutional partners.
  • Assist with office responsibilities related to international recruitment and admissions.
  • Train and oversee student workers or graduate assistants involved in international recruitment efforts.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Love for God and others with a passion for the mission of BJU
  • Strong cultural intelligence, humility, and ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach
  • Highly organized, analytical, and able to multitask while managing recruitment goals
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently and collaboratively
  • Experience in public relations, professional presentations, and building relationships
  • Microsoft Office
