Freshman Speech Teaching Assistant

Position Summary: The graduate assistant hired for this position will be responsible for teaching sections of Com 101. In preparation for teaching, this graduate assistant will construct and submit lesson plans and will be fully responsible for teaching all course content, grading all student work, and meeting with students outside of class who need additional assistance. This is a 9-month Academic GA position beginning August 2022.

  • Must be enrolled for post-graduate studies at Bob Jones University, graduate studies preferred
  • Basic knowledge of public speaking strategies
  • Effective public speaker

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree; Must be enrolled in post-graduate studies at BJU
Required Experience: No prior experience required
