Performs general landscaping tasks.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Planting
  • Trimming
  • Mulching
  • Fertilizing
  • Spraying

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to operate trucks and various equipment of the trade

OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Drive motorized vehicles
  • Work around machines
  • Work above floor level
  • Exposed to dust, fumes, gases
  • Exposed to marked changes in temperatures
  • Work outdoors in varying weather
  • Repetitive foot movement to operate foot controls (both feet)
  • Repetitive hand movement (firm grasp, fine manipulation, grasp & pull) - both hands
  • Various head and neck positions (frequent flexion)
