POSITION SUMMARY: The Enrollment Services Specialist plays an instrumental role in supporting the exponential growth of non-traditional enrollment, guiding students throughout their educational journey and ensuring a seamless process from initial inquiry to graduation. This role focuses on student recruitment and enrollment – participating in recruitment events, closely monitoring and following up with Requests for Information (RFIs), and tracking both submitted and unsubmitted applications. Additionally, the Specialist aids in developing and improving procedures for documenting and tracking these interactions. Like their peers in SCOPE, the Specialist can serve as a point of contact for online students and manage course registrations.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- RFI and Application Management: Manage RFIs and incomplete applications, ensuring prospective students receive timely and pertinent details.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Enrollment Services Coordinator and Supervisor. These roles are designed to be complementary, ensuring coverage during the extended time when adult learners are actively seeking information and providing backup as and when required.
- Adaptive Engagement: Adapt to the unique needs of adult learners who seek information beyond traditional working hours, providing timely support and information during extended hours.
- Documentation System: Develop, maintain, and refine a structured method for documenting and tracking RFIs and follow-ups on applications.
- Student Assistance: Assist online students with course registration and address their general queries.
- Data Maintenance: Maintain accurate student data within the Customer Relationship Management system.
- Inter-departmental Coordination: Maintain regular communication with the Registrar’s Office, the Business Office, and the Financial Aid Office to meet the multifaceted requirements of distance students.
- Networking and Recruiting: Attend local and campus events to recruit students or promote learning solutions and develop a strategic follow-up plan.

- Must be a confident, professional communicator
