POSITION SUMMARY: Provide student instruction from a Christian worldview for various undergraduate courses (both lecture and lab) in the Engineering major, advise students on academic matters and perform service duties as needed within the department, division, or academic school.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mentoring and advising students in the area of engineering.
- Teaching engineering courses related to area of expertise.
- Teaching other assigned courses and labs within the Engineering Core.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Graduate degree in engineering with expertise in Civil or Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field that aligns with our current concentrations.
- Master's Degree required. PhD and/or P.E. certification is preferred.
- College classroom teaching experience preferred
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Microsoft Office
- MATLAB
- CAD (Solidworks, AutoCAD, Revit)
- EDA software (MultiSim, LabVIEW)
CERTIFICATES & LICENSES:
- EIT or P.E. certification desired, but not required
