Position Summary: Create a safe, loving, excellent educational environment for school personnel and students to grow while overseeing day-to-day school operations for grades 1-5
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hire and manage school personnel
- Interview and hire school personnel
- Monitor and develop teacher performance
- Maintain an excellent educational environment
- Oversee and evaluate instructional program and curriculum
- Track and direct educational growth of students both individually and as a school
- Oversee standardized testing
- Oversee grades/report cards
- Develop relationships with families and students
- Meet with prospective families
- Disciple and discipline students
- Listen to and help resolve conflicts when necessary
- Oversee day-to-day school operations
- Develop and operate with a budget
- Manage scheduling and logistics
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for students
- Point of contact for vendors (PCS, Aramark)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of elementary school curriculum in all subject areas
- Ability to develop and facilitate long-range plans
- Ability to problem solve quickly under pressure
- Ability to develop and operate within a budget
Required Education: Master's degree, Post graduate degree preferred
Required Experience: Five or more years related experience
