Division Assistant for Health Sciences and CCGH

Position Summary: The Assistant to the Division of Health Sciences and the Center for Community and Global Health will help with the everyday activities of the Division, oversee events; provide support and counsel; coordinate functions required for the efficient operation of the Division and the CCGH; perform diversified and advanced organizational duties; expedite material or actions requested by the division chair; and work projects to assist the organizational strategy


  • Generate and document correspondence.
  • Provide information and assistance in a timely and courteous manner
  • Coordinate various division/campus events.
  • Coordinate various student association events
  • Perform data entry using Word, Excel, and Adobe software; proofread all work to ensure accuracy.
  • Order items through Bellis, NetSuite, Distribution, Facilities, and other vendors.
  • Keep subscriptions current (magazines, memberships, and others).
  • Serve as a liaison to Marketing, Events, and other departments on campus as needed.
  • Update information and maintain records.
  • Address needs of faculty and students as they arise (equipment, supplies, building needs, etc.).
  • Coordinate and assist with hospitality for special guests as needed
  • Alumni relations management
  • Help organize and market an annual CCGH seminar series
  • Help with new program and accreditation paperwork
  • Organize the division chair’s schedule for meetings, evaluations
  • Help with documents for the Division chair and other HS and CCGH faculty 
  • Help organize research projects
  • Help organize trips and community partners
  • Check student and faculty paperwork for annual health requirements.
  • Submit and maintain all necessary records for internships and practicums.
  • Assist and organize times for internships and practicums as needed.
  • Help to schedule therapy sessions and referrals for speech therapy.
  • Facilitate speakers for division and CCGH
  • Help with organizing recommendation letters

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Required Experience: One to two years related experience
