Position Summary: As a copywriting specialist, you are a skilled written communicator who can create copy for marketing communication (e.g., print and digital advertising, social posts, fliers, landing pages). You also have the opportunity to listen to and respond to customer conversations on social media. In this role, you support BJU Press in marketing materials that shape student and teacher experiences from a biblical worldview.
This is not a remote position.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create copy for emails, catalogs, fliers, blog, landing pages, social media
- Creative collaboration to creating messaging for brand campaigns
- Plan and schedule social media content
- Reply to customer questions on social media and on website
- Conduct social media listening for conversations related to the brand and to homeschooling in general
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Excellent written communication skills
- Be able to meet deadlines
- Ability to communicate and positively interact with team members and clients
- Knowledge of current social media landscape
- A passion for continuous improvement
