Campus Visit Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY: This role supports the mission BJU’s Events and Guest Services by coordinating all aspects of prospective student campus visits and providing administrative assistance to the Welcome Center team. The Campus Visit Coordinator plays a key role in creating a welcoming and seamless experience for guests by managing visit logistics, communication, and resources.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Campus Visit Coordination
    • Manage guest reservations for all prospective student visit opportunities, including:
      • Personal campus visits
      • BJU Up Close
      • Other recruitment-related events and visits
    • Coordinate and prepare visit details such as:
      • Customized visit schedules
      • Guest information packets
      • Campus tour assignments
      • Residence hall room placements
      • Shuttle and transportation information
    • Communicate regularly with prospective students, faculty, staff, and Welcome Center team members to ensure clear and timely information related to visits.
  • Administrative and Event Support
    • Assist the Director of Events & Guest Services with event planning, registration processing, and guest correspondence.
    • Maintain office supplies and organizational systems.
    • Collaborate with the Guest Services team to provide excellent customer service to all visitors.

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Consistent excellence in communications, both written and verbal, is required
  • Customer service mindset and positive, team-oriented attitude
  • Excellent computer skills required, coupled with the ability to quickly learn new software suites and functionality
  • Must be able to manage time effectively.
  • Must be able to work autonomously to achieve defined project goals.
  • Must demonstrate strong attention to detail, adherence to deadlines, and consistent follow-through.
  • Must have a strong familiarity with web-based delivery and video technology.
  • Must have valid driver's license.
  • Microsoft Office, Teams, Google Workspace, Slate
