Position Summary: The Branding Specialist is someone who believes in and is an ambassador for the BJU Press brand. The Branding Specialist works in the context of a design team and is assigned to be a help, extension, backup, and mentee to the Creative Director. The role includes design and conceptual work in all facets of BJU Press's business, including marketing, events, and products, as well as execution of both internal and customer-facing physical installations, displays, and office décor.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with implementation and enforcement of brand standards throughout the BJU Press brand spectrum
- Assist with creation of visual brand elements—graphics, displays, signage, exhibits, installations, environment
- Create, modify, conceptualize visual brand guidelines
- Order and source materials—print and dimensional
- Collaborate in defining and articulating brand style and tone
- Communicate with vendors and other resources
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Interest in visual culture and creation of brand elements
- Graphic design skills

COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Apple Keynote
- 3D-rendering software
- Above-average skill in Adobe CC and 3D software desirable
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred
Required Experience: 1-2 years related experience
