POSITION SUMMARY: Oversees the late stay program during the school year and the KinderKamp program during the summer for K3-K5 students, complies with DSS regulations, provides safe learning and recreational environment, hires BJU student workers and coordinates their schedules and assignments each day, engages in student discipleship as needed, and regularly communicates with parents and teachers. This is a Full Time – 12 month position, 9:30-5:30 daily.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Key Result Area #1: Oversee Primary Center late stay program (school year) and KinderKamp (summer)

- Provide and maintain a safe learning and recreational environment for PC students
- Disciple PC students as needed
- Coordinate schedules and staffing
- Follow proper safety guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Key Result Area #2: Supervise BJU student workers

- Interview and hire university student employees
- Review school policies with all workers
- Create weekly employee schedules using When to Work program
- Key Result Area #3: Communication

- Communicate any concerns with the program to the Primary Center Principal
- Engage parents as partners in student discipleship
- Communicate with teachers and student workers regarding after-school activities
- Consistently model Christlike attitude and demeanor with staff, children and parents
- Assist in the PC office as needed
- Communicates the religious beliefs of BJA to students and student affiliates
- Answers questions concerning faith, doctrine, and creed of BJA to constituents, students, or those inquiring about BJA
