Assistant Golf Coach

Position Summary: The Assistant Golf Coach will support the Head Coach with in-season and out of season student athlete training as well as match preparation and coaching.  She will provide personal discipleship for the women’s golf team members.


  • Lead the spiritual discipleship of female team members
  • Attend weekly team meetings
  • Oversee women’s team practices
  • Assist head coach in ordering supplies, uniforms, etc.
  • Coordinating vehicle requests for practices and tournaments
  • Assist head coach with entry forms and check requests for tournaments (season schedules)
  • Coordinate lodging and accommodations for tournaments (when necessary)
  • Assist head coach with recruiting student athletes (correspondence, campus visits, etc.)
  • Assist head coach with planning preseason week schedule
  • Oversee team statistics and record keeping (communicate tournament results to SID)
  • Assist head coach with overall correspondence/communication (with team, recruits, coaches, etc.)
  • Communicates the religious beliefs of BJU to students and student affiliates
  • Answers questions concerning faith, doctrine and creed of BJU to constituents, students, or those inquiring about BJU


  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree Required
Required Experience: One to two years related experience
