AHE Supervisor

ROLE SUMMARY: As a Supervisor at BJU Press, the ideal candidate will play a supporting role on the AHE team by managing staff, policies, and exceeding customer’s experience.

About the Team: The Academy of Home Education team seeks to support the mission of BJU Press by providing excellent record-keeping accountability and customer service for homeschool families utilizing BJU Press curriculum. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Coordinate office duties and staff
  • Maintain academic program that meets/exceeds national standards
  • Organize and coordinate events of AHE students
  • Communicate with AHE families by telephone and email
  • Place curriculum orders for BJU Inc & BJU EG faculty/staff homeschooling with AHE

 

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES NEEDED TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

  • Good English and proofreading skills
  • Knowledge of standard office practices and equipment
  • Good people skills and customer relations
  • Academic advising ability
  • Organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Familiarity with BJU Press materials

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience with
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Homeschooling experience
