Administrative Assistant for the Center for Leadership Development

POSITION SUMMARY: Manage various aspects of the CLD such as student workers and provide administrative assistance to the CLD Director and team.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise CLD student assistant team
  • Oversee the general maintenance of the CLD rooms (Game Room, Office Area, and CLD Workroom).
  • Assist in Society Training and Rush both semesters.
  • Print society decision slips for new students each semester and input the student's decision in the Access Program
  • Manage the election process for the Student Leadership Council, Inter-Society Executive Council, and Society elections.
  • Manage Society of the Year Process: each semester collect the information and calculate the SOY for the awards that are given out at Commencement.
  • Organize the Student Leadership Banquet held in April.
  • Update and input all society and organization officers in the Access Program.
  • Maintain the Society and Organization Officers list throughout the year and send to various individuals.
  • Manage receipts and assist with department finances
  • Manage Den ID card access for student leaders and staff
  • Maintain the various games in the Den by replacing and purchasing new ones.
  • Purchase/order supplies for the office.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Demonstrate a passion to develop student leaders for God's glory
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with efficiency and accuracy
  • Good people skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Display a wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Microsoft Office

Required Education: Bachelors
Required Experience: 1-2 years related experience
