Accounting Adjunct Faculty

Position Summary: A part-time, adjunct position that allows you to integrate a Christian worldview with expertise in your teaching discipline for enrolled undergraduate students

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Teach undergraduate courses in the teaching discipline of accounting, specifically taxation
  • Demonstrate skill and/or knowledge in teaching discipline and make continuous efforts to improve instruction quality
  • Plan, develop, and use a variety of teaching methods and materials that assist students in meeting course objectives
  • Develop curriculum including the evaluation and recommendation of student textbooks and other learning materials
  • Demonstrate competence in integrating technology in the classroom and willingness to explore new teaching methods
  • Evaluate students to measure progress toward achievement of course objectives and inform students of their progress in the course in a timely manner
  • Keep accurate student records and submit related assessment reports and forms within requested timelines
  • Teach courses at a variety of times and locations in response to institutional needs
  • Learn and apply technologies that support student learning

Required Education: Master's Degree
Required Experience: Five or more years related experience
