Admission Student Recruiter (Student)

POSITION SUMMARY: Assist the Office of Admission by building relationships with prospective students to the purpose of encouraging regenerate & teachable students to attend BJU.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Make a variety of calls to prospective students
  • Provide key assistance to the admission counselors by funneling new prospects to the counselor
  • Aid the supervisor with other projects and recruiting events as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University
  • Second semester freshman or above
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good record with Student Life
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Phone experience (not required but helpful)
  • Must be disciplined and committed
  • Work as a team
  • Help at staffing recruitment events
  • Perform data entry
  • Familiarity with MS Word
