Outreach and Evangelism Assistant (Student)

POSITION SUMMARY:  Assisting in event planning and execution; assisting in recruitment-related projects such as U-Day, College-up-Close, and other recruitment activities in which CGO participates; assisting with student outreach engagement and enhancement; assisting in research and development of outreach/evangelism curriculum, and undertaking assorted errands as necessary. Additionally, the student worker would sit at the CGO desk for approximately half of the work hours, providing the Office Administrator with the ability to work at a higher productivity level in her own office.


  • Assist in planning and recruitment for weekly outreaches.
  • Assist in major campus-wide outreach projects (planning, execution, tracking, documentation).
  • Assist in PR/recruitment-related projects such as U-Day, College-up-Close, and other public, university-wide activities in which CGO participates.
  • Assist Coordinator of Outreach & Evangelism in the administration of the Community Service Council.
  • Assist with student outreach engagement and enhancement.
  • Assist in research and development of outreach/evangelism curriculum.
  • Undertake assorted errands as needed by the CGO staff.
  • Undertake projects whenever requested by the Director of the CGO.
  • Engage in thought leadership (possibly including blogging) related to outreach and evangelism.
  • Sit at the CGO desk for approximately half of work hours.
