Cinematic Arts Building Monitor (Student)

POSITION SUMMARY:  Monitor Cinematic Arts Center during the day and non-business hours and handle equipment check out and check in, and other building responsibilities.

  • 2019-2020 Academic Year
  • Must be a current cinema major
  • Must be a rising sophomore or above

 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor the Cinematic Arts Center during the day, in the evenings, and on Saturdays
  • Regularly walk through student work areas in the building
  • Check equipment out and in for Cinema students
  • Unlock rooms for Cinema student reservations
  • Be a resource for students needing help with equipment or software issues
  • Empty building at closing time and lock up all pertinent areas

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University
  • General knowledge of Cinematic Arts Center and Cinema program
  • Detail-oriented
  • Experience in some kind of leadership position with peers
