POSITION SUMMARY:  This position works closely with the photography faculty to maintain the professional photographic equipment inventory, oversee student usage of the FA12 Photo Studio and inventory, and offer general instructional and shooting assistance to photography students and A+D majors as needed.


  • Oversee the student usage of the equipment stored in FA19 and be available to help students who have photography questions related to technique, equipment or file management
  • Maintain the stock of charged batteries
  • Monitor the status of the photographic inventory
  • Oversee the photography library in FA19 keeping it organized and available for students' use
  • Monitor student use of the FA 10 studio, offer training when necessary, and oversee end of the day maintenance and clean-up
  • Occasionally will provide oversight and specific instruction to Art + Design students who photo-document A+D class projects in FA10 or FA12


  • Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University
  • Art Majors preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of DSLR cameras and lenses
  • Experience in professional photographic practices
  • Solid knowledge of Adobe CC Lightroom
  • Knowledge of professional strobes and studio shooting practices
