Position Summary: Assists the PDC Manager and Department Supervisors by performing various tasks related to the daily operation of the Distribution Center.


  • Receives and forwards all incoming calls in a friendly, professional manner
  • Communicates messages to supervisors and employees in a timely manner
  • Distributes incoming mail to appropriate supervisors
  • Assists PDC Manager with time off/sick time requests and time corrections
  • Maintains official PDC calendar and current work schedules
  • Orders and maintains adequate supplies for office and other departments as directed
  • Assists in the hiring/processing/preparation for new employees
  • Plans and coordinates special activities (luncheons, tours, super-breaks, etc.)
  • Prepares and records manual shippers as needed
  • Organizes and maintains PDC files and assists with record-keeping
  • Organizes and maintains PDC office and Break Room
  • Assists PDC Manager and Department Supervisors with other tasks as needed


  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Ability to concentrate and multi-task
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • Skill and imagination in planning/organizing activities
  • Ability to keep information confidential


Required Education: Associate's Degree
Required Experience: Three to four years related experience
