BJA Administrative Assistant

Position Summary: Assist assistant administrator in developing a redesigned role involving school-wide communication, leadership development, alumni relations, and tuition & scholarship management.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist assistant administrator in asst admin’s day-to-day work

  • Keep meeting and office work in balance
  • Maintain asst admin's calendar
  • Keep asst admin informed of project deadlines
  • Keep asst admin informed about our team members. Birthdays, hiring anniversaries, great accomplishments, etc.
  • Help asst admin remain available and able to maintain a healthy working relationship with each individual team member.

Manage processes and procedures

  • Manage annual school-wide revision/update processes such as handbook, tuition & fees, and website
  • Manage annual school-wide procedures such as achievement testing, check-in, and ECENC compliance
  • Manage financial systems including BJA's tuition management and scholarship systems

Assist assistant administrator in external school communications development and maintenance

  • Help develop and deploy school-year weekly parent emails
  • Help develop and deploy an alumni & friends communications plan
  • Help develop and deploy professional leadership training opportunities

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Interpersonal skills
  • Communication skills, both oral and written
  • Organizational skills
  • Proficient knowledge and use of technology
  • Knowledge of and support for a Christian educational philosophy
  • Basic understanding of and ability to process financial transactions

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: One to two years related experience
