Curriculum Support Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY: Takes care of all aspects of customer service for BJU Press. Provides tier 1 academic counsel (especially to homeschool families). Serves as a gatekeeper for additional services provided by BJU Press (access to teachers/authors).

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Sales
  • Account management
  • Order placement
  • Problem resolution
  • Academic advising

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Communication (oral and written) skills
  • Customer Relationship Management skills
  • Keyboarding skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to remain calm and pleasant under pressure
  • Knowledge of BJU Press products and services a plus

Additional Programs:  Must have the ability to comfortably use and navigate in an online environment (information/ordering/networking/communication).

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: One to Two years related experience
