EDUcamp Jr. Program Coordinator

Assist the Community Outreach Director in planning, organizing, and running both the Day camp and EDUcamp Jr. Programing. Will oversee after-school educational enrichment program in the academy.


  • Supervise and train the college student staff of EDUcamp Jr.
  • Help oversee and coordinate the creation and implementation of EDUcamp Jr.’s academic program
  • Report to the Dean of the Department of Education twice a semester as he guides the learning aspects of the research assistant’s program requirements.
  • Manage the social media pages for EDUcamp
  • Help lead faculty members and counselors to implement each weekly theme
  • Facilitate the EDUcamp Jr. brand to reach the community
  • Help to institute afterschool educational enrichment EDUcamp program
  • Research and create further educational programs that meet needs in the community through EDUcamps
  • Perform additional office functions as assigned


  • Previous EDUcamp counselor experience
  • Experience working in leadership positions
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to relate well to people from variety of educational roles
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan and implement goals
  • Strong computer experience with technology applications
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service, public relations skills, and crisis management
  • Professional presentation experience


  • Must be a graduate student actively enrolled in Master’s degree program in Education.

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: One to two years related experience preferred
