Bus Driver

International Admission Counselor

POSITION SUMMARY:  Effectively communicate the mission and message of BJU to parties involved in the university choice decision (prospects, parents, pastors, principals, teachers, etc.).


Facilities Custodian

POSITION SUMMARY:  Works on a team (Language Arts) to write and revise elementary level textbooks and teacher support materials in a particular subject area according to State of Work specifications and in accordance with the BJU Press mandates for Bible integration and comprehension-based learning. Works with Operations and other departments to establish and meet deadlines.

Interior Designer

POSITION SUMMARY: Make interior spaces functional, safe, and beautiful by determining space requirements and selecting decorative items, such as colors, lighting, and materials.

Facilities Management Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: Function as the liaison between BJU Facilities department, other BJU departments, and outside contractors performing work on campus. Tasked with schedule creation, review and monitoring. Provides timely updates of project progress.  

IT Business Requirements Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:  The Business Requirements Analyst’s role is to serve as a liaison between business units and Information Technologies. Understanding and representing the business units is a key part of the position. This role will work with the end users and their supervisors to understand and document current processes and changes needed to meet the business unit’s needs. The Business Requirements Analyst will remain involved in change implementation to ensure goals and objectives are met. The Business Requirements Analyst will play a pivotal role in ensuring IT understanding of business requirements.

POSITION SUMMARY: Works on a team to write and revise elementary textbooks and supporting materials according to charter specifications and in accordance with the BJU Press mandates for Bible integration, comprehension-based learning, and materials to support the teacher. Works with Operations and other departments to set up and meet deadlines.

Director of Project Design/Engineering

POSITION SUMMARY:  Based on appropriate input and data collection, refine and manage a facilities master plan for BJU recognizing the influence and limitations of any deferred maintenance issues.

Plumbing Technician

POSITION SUMMARY:  Install and repair plumbing systems.

University Representative

POSITION SUMMARY: Preach and present BJU in churches and Christian schools.

IT Unix and Linux Systems Administrator

POSITION SUMMARY: The Unix and Linux Systems Administrator is responsible for the administration of multiple systems in the Platform Services group and for the upkeep, configuration and reliable operation of systems necessary for the day to day business of the university.

BJA Elementary School Substitute Teacher

POSITION SUMMARY:  Provide student instruction from a Christian worldview for various high school, middle school or elementary courses, fulfill assigned duties, and perform service duties as needed within the school. This position is on an "as needed" basis.
