Dean of Libraries

POSITION SUMMARY :  As Dean of Libraries, you will have the opportunity to lead the libraries of Bob Jones University in the mission, articulating a strategic vision and direction. You will serve as an advocate for the libraries, directing and overseeing all aspects of daily operations including supervision of personnel and materials; preparation of administrative reports; assisting faculty, students, and patrons.

University Business Faculty

POSITION SUMMARY:  Contribute expertise in teaching discipline to existing undergraduate programs of instruction, which integrate a Christian worldview. Develop professional relationships with students to mentor and advises on academic matters for career readiness. Also, perform service duties as needed within the School of Business. In addition, advance professional development through connections and contributions to teaching discipline. Furthermore, maintain professional ties with graduates, colleagues, and community. 

University Dean of Health Professions

POSITION SUMMARY:  As Dean of the School of Health Professions, you will lead faculty members, students, and programs within the School, provide undergraduate and/or graduate student instruction from a Christian worldview, advise students concerning academic matters, and ensure the efficient and effective operation of the School within the policies and plans of BJU as a whole. 

Associate Dean for the School of Continuing, Online, and Professional Education

POSITION SUMMARY:  Reporting to the Vice Provost for Strategic Initiatives, the Associate Dean for the Center for Distance Learning (CDL) at Bob Jones University (BJU) is responsible for leading BJU’s Distance Education department, ensuring that BJU delivers high-quality and cutting-edge distance education and non-traditional programs. The Associate Dean will assist the Vice Provost in providing strategic leadership, leveraging significant expertise in educational technology, online pedagogy, and operational implementation of academic programs. She/he will be required to communicate BJU’s Center for Distance Learning's strategy and initiatives with internal and external audiences with varying levels of distance education expertise.

Nursing Division Chair

POSITION SUMMARY: In addition to providing instruction to students from a Christian worldview, the Chair of the Division of Nursing has the responsibility to officially represent the Division, serving as the spokesperson for the Division with the university on fiscal, administrative, and personnel matters. Responsibilities are to assist faculty in the review and implementation of curriculum as well as preparation for state, regional, national, and federal agencies as required for accreditation. Other responsibilities include time and attendance, participating in hiring of new faculty members, leading academic program reviews, conducting annual faculty reviews, and representing or participating in task groups and events as requested. The Division chair must be mature scripturally and adhere to the biblical worldview of Bob Jones University.

University Mathematics Faculty

POSITION SUMMARY: Provide student instruction from a Biblical-based worldview for undergraduate courses offered by the Math Department, passionately engage students to develop analytical and critical thinking skills, advise students on academic matters, perform service duties as needed within the department, and continue professional development as dictated by personal interests and the needs of the department.
