JourneyForth Product Support Specialist

POSITION SUMMARY:  As Support Specialist, you will be responsible for the JourneyForth reprint process, department correspondence, clerical functions, and JourneyForth's social media presence.


  • Manage the production of reprints
  • Process unsolicited submissions (log manuscripts, acknowledge receipt, and forward to acquisitions editor)
  • Register all JF (JourneyForth) titles for copyright and CIP (Cataloging in Publication)
  • Perform various office management and product support functions for JourneyForth and, as requested by the Senior Manager, for the broader Editorial Services group 
  • In conjunction with the BJU Press Marketing Department, maintain an active social media presence for JourneyForth: identify social media channels, write posts and develop campaigns, develop and maintain a schedule


  • Ability to use social media platforms (current and future) effectively for promotional purposesOrganizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clerical/computer skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Proofreading ability
  • Knowledge of trade book publishing process and terminology helpful

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: One to two years related experience
