  • The Coordinator of Outreach & Evangelism serves to connect Bob Jones University students, faculty, and staff to evangelistic and community service endeavors in the Greenville area and beyond.
  • 12-month full-time position
  • Position open May 2017


  • Act as a liaison to local churches and community organizations
  • Coordinate 3-4 evangelistic outreach events per year with the student body
  • Establish and facilitate ongoing outreach ministry opportunities (i.e., Miracle Hill, nursing homes, CEF)
  • Work with Student Life and SLC to promote evangelism from the student body
  • Provide oversight to Community Service Council
  • Serve in advisory function for Missions Advance as required by CGO Director
  • Provide evangelistic training/equipping to student body
  • Facilitate and strengthen existing outreach ministries from the student body and societies
  • Track student outreach efforts
  • Accomplish special projects as needed


  • Excellent writing, editing, and generally superior communication skills
  • Superior people skills
  • Capable of exploring new outreach opportunities
  • Creativity in presenting ideas
  • Positive attitude, capable of working with others and converting ideas to practical applications
  • Self-starter; above average organizational skills
  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: One to two years related experience
