POSITION SUMMARY:  Are you passionate about Christian higher education? Do you love interacting with teenagers? Consider joining the admission team to share the mission of BJU with prospective students, their parents, teachers, administrators, and pastors. As Admission Recruitment Specialist, you will have the opportunity to travel to various events around the country in addition to attending events on campus to recruit specifically for the School of Religion.


  • Actively engaged in the recruiting activities of School of Religion prospects
  • Assist with the recruitment of the BJA 12th grade class
  • Involvement with on-campus recruiting events (including, but not limited to, hosting College Up Close bus trips; assisting with HS Festival Preaching Conference; Admission liaison with BJU invitational high school sports tournaments during the school year and with BJU EduCamps and sports camps in the summer; and others
  • Travel frequently for recruiting purposes, including but not limited to, Rooted and Grounded Conferences; Teach Them Diligently Conferences (teen track); teen rallies (Harvest Rally, Farm Fest, etc.), Christian schools, FCA chapters at public schools, etc.
  • Seek to understand the SC homeschool market and connect them to opportunities at BJU

  • General understanding of computers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience: One to two years related experience- At least one year of experience in the residence hall preferred
